Kim’s journey into yoga began in 2007, after her Grandad passed away. As an eternal optimist, this inspired Kim to begin to live life. Shortly thereafter, she travelled to Europe, started training for a half marathon, and began to practice yoga. Although originally meant to compliment her intense running schedule—yoga eventually became so much more. Living life fully, Kim moved to Victoria in June 2009. She stumbled upon Moksha Yoga Victoria in May 2010 and felt like she was finally home. Kim started out as an energy exchanger at MYV and played with the idea of becoming a teacher.
She is constantly amazed with the resilience of the body, mind and heart. Kim believes that everyone can benefit from yoga, allowing a person to heal both mentally and physically, to find whatever it is they are looking for, and so much more!
Her dream to share yoga and meditation with the homeless population of Victoria is beginning. She hopes to change the world one yoga class at a time. Kim feels so blessed to be a part of this amazing sangha (community).
P.S. Kim thinks she’s really funny, so please laugh at her jokes, even if they’re not funny.
