Airlie Ogden

Airlie stumbled into her first yoga class in 2007 while living in China. Simply looking for a new way to stay in shape, she found much more – space in her body, a greater capacity for breath and a quieter mind (which is normally as busy as the streets of Shanghai!) After seven years, three teacher trainings (over 1500 hours) in two countries, countless workshops with numerous outstanding teachers, and an ongoing string of small triumphs and big face plants, she continues to fall in love with and be humbled by this practice. And it shows…students describe her classes as challenging, creative, impassioned and fun!

Born and raised in Charlottetown, PEI, she’s now living in Victoria with her husband and two kitties, and studying ayurvedic medicine at the California College of Ayurveda.

Besides yoga, Air loves… flip flops, full moons, handstands, chocolate covered almonds, her family, music, belly laughs, the smell wood stoves in the fall & of mud in the spring, leg warmers, coffee, books, all things Italian, the ocean, hoppy beer & white wine, songbirds, sunrises, learning, fear, cinnamon, Colin Firth, goat cheese, deep breaths, donkeys, her peeps, challenges, languages, silence…
